I'm 45 YO

I live in the US

I've worked as field hand, at a Jr Food Store, at an Orange Julius, on an exotic animal farm, in a library, a book store, as a customer service rep for a cable company, I've been a Licensed Nurse, a tarot card reader and a taxi cab driver. That's not all but nuff said.


I am addicted to words; written, spoken, sung; fiction or non fiction.

If there's a word for it, or words about it, and it strikes my fancy, you'll more than likely find it here. Whether it's weird, news, my opinions, articles or stories. Posts may at times indicate my views and sometimes not. Never assume anything you may see posted here is how I feel about any subject, or that I endorse that opinion or belief unless I specifically say so. It's just something I found interesting at the time, whether I agree with it or not. My words are my words. I'm more than happy to talk and discuss. But I will not put up with flaming and personal attacks on myself or another poster. If you don't like my words don't read my words. No one is twisting your arm. In other words GTFO and don't let the doorknob hit you on the ass on your way out, this is my journal. It's my house, my words, and my rules.

Words are only one form of communciation but they can express every human condition or emotion, whether they're written, spoken or sung. They are symbols for things. They describe. They can make us laugh and cry. They can make you feel good or bad. They can lift you up or take you to the depths of despair. They define the parameters of the human condition. They can heal or break. Bless or curse.

Words give shape to our beliefs, fantasies, fears, dreams and goals. They give rise to impossible wonderful events.

Prophecies are events shaped by words.

Words are held sacred and holy by millions or rejected as taboo.

Words have swayed millions, have saved lives, destroyed lives, have caused wars, have ended wars, have caused slaughter, have birthed religious movements, have changed human history. Words will continue to shape the world and the future.

Words can educate, entertain, enrage, enlighten, invigorate, motivate, please, dismay, disturb, shock, disillusion. The list of things that words can accomplish is endless.

The use and choice of words means the difference between failure and success in every endeaver in life.

Words are used for security: Pass words and code words, speech recognition, voice patterning.

Every group and subgroup in society has their own words peculiar to the group. Each one can be recognized by the group speak. Attorneys, doctors, politicians, religions, etc.

Words can be loaded or they can be understated.

They can convey truths or lies.

Words are so important they have been guarded in vaults and by the highest security devices possible. They have been buried instead of destroyed.

Words can reveal or conceal. They can be twisted and misinterpreted. Used for justice or injustice.

Words are indeed mightier than the sword.

Words can trickle down into the subconscious and plant seeds of life or death.

I consider it a high crime, in fact it borders on blasphemy in my eyes, to punish people because they exercise the fundamental right of every person to express themselves in words, written, spoken, or sung. In other words censorship. Censorship is controlling people by the suppression of words that the censor doesn't like or approve of.

I read a wide variety of subjects. I have a huge ecletcic collection of books, music, and movies.

I read and write m/m fanfic.

I do research constantly online and in the library.

I am constantly learning new things.

I am making this my Permanent Journal, as I have picked this as a user name I would like to keep.
